Target Market:
Until we have built our reputation in the industry, we want to focus our attention on two main markets for the studio space:
- Small to medium brands/creative agencies (where price is an important consideration)
- Photographers who pay a competitive membership fee for access to the space on days when the studio is not booked- they will be able to manage reservations through an online calendar (sign ups to occur on a week by week basis to allow first dibs to paying clients)
We will also focus our attention on renting out camera equipment for commercials and films at a competitive rate.
Customer Needs:
Short Term: An artist supported and supporting ecosystem that is sustained through competitively priced studio space and equipment with flexible hours and availability.
Long Term: An artist supported and supporting ecosystem that provides full service studios, restored theater amphitheater, creative and production agency that facilitates the needs of its community and offers outstanding customer service and creative capabilities across the board with locations in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Mexico City.
Target Market Strategy:
Reach out to producers and creative agencies we work with to let them know we have a cost effective space opening and offer a competitive rate.
Reach out to image maker groups and friends to get the word out among creatives that we have a shared space available for rental at a competitive rate.
Reach out to filmmakers via Kitsplit/Sharegrid and Social Media channels offering our high end equipment.
Reach out to artists and teachers willing to volunteer time to offer programming for our events calendar.
Work with community leaders and organizers to ensure the best in class programming and advocacy efforts.
Raise funds to aid with the restoration efforts for the RKO Hamilton Theater Auditorium to further our community arts building efforts.
Our team will maintain a web presence (across site and social media) as well as handle incoming phone/email requests. Depending on our workload, we may need to hire a freelance studio manager to assist with day-to-day management of space when we can’t be on-site.
Operational Procedure:
Due to the previous company (Transistor Films) we are already set with the Tax Payer’s ID and a corporate account. In the next step we need to change the address of the Company, and also add the new members. In addition, we need to speak with a lawyer to set up our terms of service, contracts, liability disclaimers, etc.
Parallel to that, we will begin renovating the space to get it client facing. We need to build a website, social media profile, and phone/email account so we can begin getting the word out to prospective clients. We need to begin investing in equipment/insurance to build out our comprehensive offering
